The Splinter
Once in winter
I got a splinter.
I tried to get it out
Using my mouth.
Then I asked my brother
To get my mother
to see what she could do.
I said it was sore.
Mammy said “Please do not roar.
When I take it out
You’ ll have no more to worry about.

In The Sky
The sun shines warm
All through the day
As the clouds float by
On their way
As the sun fades at the
end of the day.
The moon shines high and
The stars twinkle bright
The day ends with a
brand new night.

The Mouse In The House
There was a little mouse that lived in a house.
But the woman of the house didn’t want the little mouse.
So she set a little trap, but the trap didn’t snap.
So now the little mouse lives with the woman in the house.

My Puppy
My puppy loves his basket, he loves his blanket too,
He loves to eat his dinner, he loves to chew a shoe,
He loves his tummy tickled, he loves to play with toys,
He loves some noise to make, he loves to go out walking,
He loves his favourite tree, he also loves a person………
I’m glad to say its ME.
